• Wycliffe College is a co-educational, independent, private day and boarding school located in the town of Stonehouse in Gloucestershire, England. The school was founded in 1882 by G. W. Sibly
• Wycliffe College (/ˈwɪklɪf/) is a graduate theological school of the University of Toronto.^[1] It is affiliated with the Anglican Church of Canada and is evangelical and low church in orientation.^[2] On the other hand, the University of Toronto's other Anglican college, the University of Trinity College, is Anglo-Catholic in outlook. While being an Anglican seminary, Wycliffe College attracts students from many Christian denominations. As a founding member of the Toronto School of Theology, students are free to participate in the wide range of courses from Canada's largest ecumenical consortium. It trains those pursuing ordination as well as those preparing for academic careers of scholarship and teaching. In response to the Liberal Catholic perspective of Trinity College, which is the Toronto diocesan seminary, the Church Association of the Diocese of Toronto, a lay Evangelical group at the Cathedral Church of St. James, founded the independent Protestant Episcopal Divinity School in 1877 to provide an alternative source for evangelical and low-church theological training. Like its Oxford counterpart, Wycliffe Hall, the name "Wycliffe College" was inspired by John Wycliffe, a 14th-century English scholastic philosopher, theologian, Biblical translator, reformer, and theology professor at Oxford. The name was given first to the college's building and then to the college itself.^[3] To ensure its long-term viability, Wycliffe College began considering various forms of union with the University of Toronto towards the end of the 19th century. Wycliffe College became affiliated with the University of Toronto in 1885 and federated in 1889. Wycliffe College had a close association with the Anglican Church of the Epiphany in Parkdale. In 1969, the Toronto School of Theology (TST) was created as an independent federation of seven schools of theology, including the divinity faculties of Wycliffe College. Within its own federation, the University of Toronto granted degrees except theology or divinity degrees. Since 1978, by virtue of a change made in its charter, the University of Toronto has granted theology degrees conjointly with Wycliffe College and other TST member institutions. An act respecting Wycliffe College, being chapter 112 of the Statutes of Ontario, 1916, was repealed and the Wycliffe College Act, 2002 was substituted.^[9] Wycliffe College's arms were registered with the Canadian Heraldic Authority on March 15, 2007. The Wycliffe College Chapel sanctuary features several stained glass windows, including "Our Lord", "St. Paul", "St. John", and "Timothy" by Robert McCausland Limited.

It started with pilot projects in 10 different languages linked to prayer partners and investors. Four years later, the model was working in 50 people groups and growing. Although Bible translation dates back to the first centuries of the Church, the spread into lesser-known languages began after the Reformation. Wycliffe Bible Translators initiated and led the modern Bible translation movement in the mid-20th century. By the 1980s, however, they realized that it would take 150 years at the current pace of translation to reach every people group. Wycliffe asked former CEO Bernie May to lead the initiative to build a model that would accelerate the pace of Bible translation and involve more national leadership. By 2002 The Seed Company reached its 200th language group, with all projects being led by national translators. By 2007 the number of cumulative languages engaged grew to 400, and in 2012 we entered our 800th language partnership. Today, The Seed Company is working with several hundred local translators who are leading the translation process in more than 400 Bible translation projects. These translators are responding to the local churches’ and ministries’ need to make Scripture available more quickly for church planting and discipleship.

- 2003至04年間，龍維耐醫生、龍蕭念全師母、翁競華牧師、翁林惠華師母、曹姿孋宣教士及姚桂芬宣教士，六位跨文化工作者經常走在一起禱告和商討，看看將他們加起來接近150年宣教的經驗和心得，能為這一代和下一代的宣教同路人做些什麼？漸漸便浮起「凝聚同路人、培育關顧者」的理念，開始籌組「同路坊」，並於2004年6月開始運作。2008年7月在同路坊同工退修會中，大家談到宣教士的退休問題，因此，萌發了「宣教村」的理念。藉著向神禱告，於2010年5月召聚了21位的差會及宣教機構的領袖討論分享，隨後推舉6位成立宣教村籌委會。2011年10月開始每月一次的宣教村祈禱會，關心宣教村發展的弟兄姊妹齊集同路坊為未來的發展禱告。2013年9月，同路坊眾董事及「宣教村籌委會」及一致同認同兩者的理念，意向相近，雙方決定融合，以「培育、更新、居所、推廣」四大向度為基石，並由同路坊轉名為「保羅文化中心 Paulus Cultural Center」繼續發展，2014年4月2日在公司註冊處正式易名了。http://www.pauluscc.net/about_us.html
